The Deacons Family
Family Overview
Dust it with sugar, wrap it in festive foil, heck, put a chocolate butter swirl bow on it, a fact's a fact, the Deacons' house is a pit! A pit of metal that is- a pit of metal on solid ground. Odd rusting shapes replace grass and a barbed wire fence runs where a more welcoming sidewalk ought to be. It's ok, though, the boys are handy with their tools and generous with their prices. If something needs fixing, namely your car, over to the Deaconses is where to take it.
Boyd Deacons
Boyd was always such a quiet boy. Some would say he was sensitive. Well, the sensitivity's debatable, but he's still not much for words. When not tinkering with some scrap of metal or another, Boyd can be found at The Wiley Steer enjoying a can or two of alcoholic beer. He sometimes can also be found at church, sitting quietly in the back during the service.
Andy Deacons
Of the two, Andy is slightly more talkative than his brother- not that anyone would get what he's talking about! Rumor has it, Andy's something of an amateur engineer, designing all sorts of stuff that the boys keep under tarps in their back yard. Andy frequents a variety of the local establishments, usually with a notepad, a-jotting away. He doesn't, however, ever frequent church.
