The Rogers Family
Family Overview
The Rogerses are a sizable (four kids!) family sustained on a working class budget. Their slate blue house is always well-kept with a nice, weekly-cut lawn despite the busy lives and long hours worked by Butch and Susie. Seasonal decorations go well with the holidays, and Susie ensures they're there at the proper time, and never too long. The Rogerses all attend church every Sunday. They have satellite T.V.
Butch Rogers
Butch Rogers is a busy man. Like his wife, he has four kids. Unlike his wife, he works full time at Farewell Chemical in Redlake as well as doing odd jobs as a hired hand at nearby farms and around town. When not working, he enjoys organized sports and mowing his lawn. He's not super talkative, probably because he's tired, but he has kind of a nice laugh.
Susie Rogers
A quiet woman with a beautiful laugh, Susie has her hands full. Whether it be caring for the kids or working part-time at Cody's Smorgasborg, Susie is a busy gal. Somehow, she still finds time to, both, keep a clean house and constantly update the holiday decorations. Phenomenal!
Jennifer Rogers
If it were possible for girls to be such a thing, Jennifer would be a stud. At age 16, she's the youngest starter on the Decayne County High volleyball team. She can set, she can bump, she can serve, and she can spike. Rumors are whispered at the potluck after church and at other social functions that, unless she gets seriously injured, Jennifer has a promising future on the professional Women's Volleyball circuit.
Josh Rogers
Unlike his older sister, Josh Rogers, age 14, has yet to distinguish himself. He does well in school, not super well, but better than average, but, really, he's not very athletic. He's not even geeky or anything, he dresses well, takes care of his face to prevent unsightly break-outs; he just doesn't seem to have the drive to succeed. Anyway, he's a nice boy.
Carl Rogers
Unlike his older brother, Carl Rogers, age 12, is quite athletic. Although he's no Jennifer yet, the boy's yet to hit puberty and, chances are, when he does, he'll be a star. Last summer, he did quite well in Lion's League Softball. The team has high hopes for him this year.
Soda Rogers
Soda, no, that's not her real name, it's a nick-name, is the youngest of the Rogers clan. At 6, she's quite the spring chicken. Unfortunately, she'd rather be a princess. She likes animals a lot. Sometimes, one of the old people from church will take her out to a farm to witness the livestock. She enjoys that quite a bit.
