The Trummels keep a tidy yard, sometimes with help; they're getting on in years. They both attend church and other community functions regularly. They are considered to be good people.
The eldest of the Trummel boys, Terrence is the only one still married to a living wife. A retired farmer, Terrence is a good enough fellow. He used to be a mighty fine pitcher. He still goes to the games, when they're held, and sometimes volunteers to umpire, although his vision isn't too good anymore.
Nancy's a nice lady. Not only does she make a nice pot-roast, but her annual quilt auction always raises a substantial sum for the church. She enjoys socializing, her husband, and watching children play.
