When entering the only church in Brody, one finds oneself first in a small hall consisting of a coatrack and a large statue of Jesus. To the right, the hall changes turns into a flight of stairs going down. Straight ahead is the sanctuary. The sanctuary consists of pews, a piano, and an altar/pulpit/stage. Down the stairs is a cafeteria-like meeting room that features a small kitchenette and a bathroom.
Wallace has been Brody's pastor for, at least, thirty years. His strong preaching style will put the fear of hell in you. Get to talking, however, and you'll find he's not a mean man, always willing to listen, give advice, or help out.
Since being brought in by Wallace about 15 years ago, Teddy has been a welcome face near the pulpit. Generally, he leaves the sermons to his partner, preferring instead to run the children's portion of the service as well as coordinating the music, and most of the church special functions. The children especially look forward to his magic shows during which he performs "minor miracles" in God's name.
